MACHIN INVESTMENTS SPECIALISES IN DELIVERING END-TO-END PROPERTY DEVELOPMENTS FOR INVESTORS TO CREATE HIGH-YIELD FINANCIAL RETURNS AND LOCAL REGENERATION.
We minimise outlay whilst maximising returns by transforming run-down commercial property or land, into high-quality housing. Our tight-knit team uses a rare combination of skills and experience, combined with a passion for property. Typically, our investors join us on a profit-sharing basis by providing shares in a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). We manage investors’ hard-earned capital exactly as we would our own: with prudence, respect and the greatest of care. In fact, we regularly invest our own money into projects alongside our investors. Our track record has attracted some exceptional relationships with financiers, agents and service providers.
Founder of Machin Investments, Will is an accomplished, award-winning entrepreneur with a significant track record in property investment and development. He’s experienced many highs and lows of business and property investment, but always remains an ardent advocate of small businesses and property development. Graduating with a university degree in Real Estate Surveying, Will went on to work as a Commercial Property Valuation Surveyor for Leeds-based Weatheralls and an Investment Management Surveyor for LaSalle Investment Management in London, managing property portfolios for HSBC and British Aerospace pension funds.
While cutting his entrepreneurial teeth on highly successful projects, including a multi-award-winning farm shop and café and a software technology business, Will also set up The Machin Group. Using his local knowledge of Brighton and the South East of England, he identified and managed his own, higher-yielding property development projects. Having created an excellent track record with Lloyds Commercial, the bank encouraged and backed him to expand operations by raising private investor equity. Machin Investments was born. Now, with a number of successful developments under his belt, Will enjoys delivering significant investor returns, whilst contributing to the local economy and infrastructure.
Josh had already established and grown his own contracting firm before gaining further project management expertise as lead contractor for all Machin Group projects. He has brought wide-ranging re-development experience including: a boutique hotel, luxury apartments and period property conversions in the conservation-protected city of Bath, where he studied Mathematics and Architecture at University.
Josh combines his gift for mathematics with highly impressive practical applications, resulting in the timely and safe delivery of profitable projects. As Executive Director of Machin Investments, Josh’s drive, experience and intelligence naturally suit his involvement in every aspect of the business, from investment analysis and property acquisition, to project management and delivery.
